The California Consumer Privacy Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”)

CCPA is a California law that gives California users the right to learn about and control certain aspects of how a business handles the personal information that a business collects about them.

Under the provisions of the law, a user may request: (1) the categories of personal information the business has collected about them; (2) the sources from which the personal information is collected; (3) the business or commercial purpose for collecting personal information; (4) the categories of third parties with whom the business shares the personal information; and (5) the specific pieces of personal information it has collected about that user.

Alterity ADR does not sell user’s personal information.

How we handle user disclosure requests

When we receive a verifiable user request, Alterity ADR will immediately take steps to disclose and deliver, free of charge to the user, the personal information. Alterity ADR will endeavor to provide the information within 60 days of the request.

Users have the right to request to delete the personal information

A user may request that Alterity ADR delete the user’s information. Alterity ADR will delete this information upon request unless the request to delete falls within one of the exceptions listed in CCPA 1798.105 (d).
