Alterity ADR is thrilled to announce the addition of Kelly Overstreet Johnson to its panel of alternative dispute resolution professionals. Ms. Johnson is available for both virtual and in-person mediations and arbitrations throughout the country.

As a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit-Civil Mediator and Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator, Ms. Johnson comes to the panel with 40 years of litigation experience in state and federal courts and arbitrations, and 15 years of experience as a mediator and arbitrator. She recently transitioned from the practice of law to a full-time mediation and arbitration practice with Overstreet Johnson Mediation & Arbitration.  Ms. Johnson’s experience includes a wide variety of areas primarily focusing on commercial and business disputes, employment-related issues, non-competition agreements, probate and trust, general civil and tort claims, premises liability, nursing home, and health care.

Elected by her colleagues as the first woman president of the Tallahassee Bar Association in 1989, she has been active in numerous bar association roles, serving as president of the Tallahassee Women Lawyers, in the ABA House of Delegates, and on the executive council of the ABA Litigation Section.  Her professional recognitions are many but culminated when she was elected and proudly served as President of The Florida Bar in 2004-2005, the third woman to hold that position.

Ms. Johnson has been repeatedly recognized for her professional excellence by Florida Super Lawyers (in its Hall of Fame since 2011), the top 50 Women Super Lawyers, and many other organizations.  She is also AV-rated by Martindale Hubbell.  Her leadership and background in local, state, and national organizations make her a highly sought-after mediator and arbitrator.
