BRYANT GALINDO

Mediator

Biography

Bryant Galindo is a bilingual, bi-cultural mediator and consultant specializing in business, employment, and partnership-based disputes in the startup and technology space.

As Founder and Principal of CollabsHQ, Bryant has mediated multi-million dollar partnership dissolutions, breach of contract claims, equity restructuring deals, and general disagreements between startup founders and business partners. In addition to this, his consulting work focuses on the early prevention/conflict resolution methods and communication strategies businesses can embed in their partnerships and team environments to keep disagreements low and motivation high.

Bryant also has experience mediating employment discrimination and harassment complaints, insurance claims, personal injury, negligence, and landlord-tenant disputes as a contract mediator for First Court, Inc. and The Mediation Center of the Pacific. Prior to this, Bryant worked as a pro bono mediator for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Bryant has been recognized and shortlisted for a Mediator Newcomer Award with The National Mediation Awards (a U.K-based organization that celebrates domestic and international mediators) for his work pioneering mediation within the startup industry. He is also an author, publishing his first book, The New Middle: Connecting Heart and Mind to Collaboratively Disagree, through New Degree Press in May of 2022.

Bryant holds a Master of Science in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Columbia University. Likewise, he previously consulted with the United Nations, MUFG, and the University of Phoenix to create large-scale conflict resolution and communication training.
