Biography

Deborah Hylton’s practice as a conflict engagement specialist, mediator, and arbitrator is differentiated by 38 years of cross-industry experience as a corporate board chair, corporate director, CEO, businesswoman, and leading transactional attorney within a Top 100 U.S. law firm. Deborah offers a distinctive skill set in arbitration and mediation and brings first-hand insights into the growing field of dispute prevention and early conflict resolution. As a strategic thinker, Deborah is adept at tailoring these processes to the unique needs of her clients. 

Deborah has significant expertise in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, complex manufacturing, commercialization of innovations, licensing, corporate governance, restructuring of distressed companies, and shareholder disputes. She was recognized for more than 10 years in Best Lawyers in America for corporate law and was rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. In addition to co-founding and growing a new office of her firm, she was the first woman and youngest partner elected to the management committee.

Deborah maintains her work in the business community, sitting on three corporate boards and maintaining active in global and local corporate director organizations.

In addition to her work as a mediator and arbitrator, Deborah is a frequent speaker and presenter at ADR conferences and various forums for corporate leadership.
