Michael A. Zuckerman

Arbitrator | Mediator

Biography

Michael A. Zuckerman helps people and companies resolve disputes with professionalism, skill and a personal touch.

He draws on his experience as a litigator at a global law firm, a four-time federal law clerk (trial and appellate), and a law professor at a top school.

Michael is passionate about alternative dispute resolution because it can provide an efficient and effective way to resolve disputes. Indeed, whether through a voluntary mediation, a binding arbitration, or some other procedure, Michael works with the parties to achieve fairness, certainty, and hopefully finality to their dispute.

Michael has handled hundreds of mediation and arbitration matters. His experience is broad and includes, among many other areas, commercial and consumer matters (business to business, and business to consumer), consumer credit and debts, employment and workplace disputes, lemon laws, vendor agreements, contracts and warranties, retail and ecommerce, professional services, smaller claims, inter-personal disputes, property and real estate, and insurance issues.

Access to mediation services is important to Michael, who spends significant time volunteering with community organizations and courts throughout the state. Additionally, through his work with nonprofits, including on the Board of Directors of a statewide dispute resolution center, Michael works to expand mediation services to those in need.

In his free time, Michael spends time with friends and family, including his husband and two dogs. He also explores interests and hobbies, like traveling throughout the world.
