Alterity ADR is pleased to announce the addition of Robert (Bob) Manne to its panel of expert mediators and arbitrators. With more than three decades of complex dispute resolution experience, Bob brings a wealth of subject matter expertise to the panel, with a focus on construction, technology, and commercial/business disputes and litigation.

Not not only is this an opportunity for me to be part of a diverse group of first class neutrals but a chance for me to work with professionals who are dedicated to resolving disputes in a fair and efficient manner,” said Bob.

In addition to his law firm experience, Bob helped found The Ultimate Software Group Inc. (now renamed UKG) a payroll/HR record-keeping technology company, where Bob served as General Counsel for more than 20 years. In addition to being responsible for all of Ultimate Software’s legal matters, Bob managed its domestic and international real estate operations, its sales administration, and the Company’s privacy, risk, and compliance activities.

Apart from arbitrating and mediating disputes, Bob also spent nearly 20 years as a partner in the International Law Firm of Becker & Poliakoff, P.A. in Florida, where he currently serves as “Of Counsel” to the firm. Bob’s primary areas of practice were construction law, real estate law, and commercial litigation. 

In addition to practicing law and arbitrating and mediating disputes, Bob is currently an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Miami Law School and Brooklyn Law School. Bob is also actively involved in various philanthropic and charitable organizations. As the Founder and Director of the Manne Family Foundation, Bob and his wife, Grace Manne, support organizations that serve the underserved and underrepresented members of the South Florida community.
