PRO TEM TRIAL

In this ADR process parties choose their town trial date and the court appoints a temporary pro tem judge for the trial. The appointed pro tem judge possesses the same authority of a regular judge and makes a decision based on the evidence and arguments presented during the trial.

Each party in a pro tem trial follows the same rules and procedures they would in a regular trial, and there is no option for a jury trial. Alterity will work with the parties to provide their own court reporter.
